Requirements
- coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 2+ years of experience with Typescript
- 1+ years of experience working on user-facing product development
- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and related prompt engineering a plus
Responsibilities
- focus on direct user interaction and experience, working on both content and chrome within Word Native
- collaborate with a talented and experienced team of engineers to solve complex technical challenges—from document layout and performance tuning to modern asynchronous collaboration
- work in a customer-focused, hypothesis-driven environment, partnering across Office teams and leveraging both qualitative and quantitative data to build experiences that people truly need and love
- exploring how AI can enhance user flows, powering the next wave of innovation in productivity tools
- Design, own, and deliver software solutions that meet business and technical requirements, while fostering strong communication and collaboration across teams
- Drive the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Develop secure, reliable, scalable, and maintainable code, and take ownership of debugging, testing, and supporting software in production environments
