Microsoft's OneDrive and SharePoint services need to fundamentally change the way millions of people use their devices and interact with their content, requiring systems to enable partner and ISV migration, improve core systems performance, ensure business continuity, provide telemetry, and reduce issue resolution time.
Requirements
- 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Proficient in delivering and interacting with REST API’s and web services across multiple systems.
- 2+ years of experience designing and working with cloud-scale services, large scale distributed systems, backend development and server/service management features.
- Experience with building cloud-scale infrastructure components.
- Awareness, passion, and experience related to cloud scale distributed design and patterns.
- Familiar with secure software design concepts.
- Able to learn new systems quickly and adapt new methodologies to our service.

- Experience mentoring and coaching peers and early-in-career engineers.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Proven track record of delivering projects that include multiple components.
- Ability and eagerness to work across and partner with multiple engineering teams to achieve business goals.
