Requirements
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
- Track record of using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar to improve productivity, code quality, and innovation.
- Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare data exchange standards.
- Expertise in observability, reliability, and secure-by-design development.
- Demonstrated thought leadership in AI-assisted development practices.
- Proven ability to solve complex, large-scale technical problems with lasting business impact.
- Demonstrated mastery in software design and system architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver robust software that meets both business and user needs.
- Write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code that serves as a model for peers.
- Translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions, working backward from the problem.
- Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools—such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and code generation agents—to augment design, development, and documentation workflows.
- Identify opportunities to embed AI capabilities into solutions.
- Promote responsible AI use within engineering teams, encouraging experimentation while maintaining ethical and security standards.
- Stay current with emerging trends in software engineering, AI, and healthcare interoperability.
