Corelight is an early-stage security startup that secures sensitive and mission-critical networks. They are looking for a candidate to help enhance their security products based on the Zeek Network Security Monitor.
Requirements
- Expert in Python and Bash Shell scripting.
- High degree of familiarity with any IDS/IPS appliance or Open Source tool.
- Good understanding of packet capture tools like, TCPDUMP, TCPREPLAY, MERGECAP.
- High degree of familiarity in one Linux distribution.
- High degree of familiarity with load generating tools, like, IxLoad, Breakpoint, Load Runner.
Responsibilities
- Ability to research, identify and design protocol traffic patterns for feature impact analysis.
- Benchmarking performance metrics of different Corelight Sensor features.
- Work to enhance the automation test coverage in current Continuous Integration Framework that will help to capture issues early in the development cycle.
- Interact and coordinate with cross functional groups, like Development Engineering and Product Management to ensure features developed, meet the requirements
- Work with field support engineers to reproduce the issue observed in the product environment for eventual fix.
- In addition, Candidate is expected to be a key technical member for the new Corelight Security product line.
