Collins Aerospace is seeking a Product Line Software Engineer to focus on the technical aspects of product development, including architecture, design, and development processes for software-only products within the FACE Applications area. This role is crucial for supporting the design and development of software solutions for navigation, flight planning, guidance, and hazard avoidance on emerging platforms, aligning with the MOSA Strategy.
Requirements
- Operational knowledge and experience with F.A.C.E.
- Experience working across the full software development lifecycle using C/C++, Java, and/or Python.
- Knowledge of Avionics regulatory and certification requirements: DO-178B/C.
- Experience in the design and development of deliverable software (production or consumer facing).
- AGILE development experience.
- Experience in software testing, debugging source code including familiarity with Git, Jira, and/or Bitbucket for configuration management and workflow management.
- Experience programming in a Unix/Linux based development environment.

- Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance (Classified as a US Person).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
