Settle is building a cashflow management platform to help founders and small business owners manage their company's financial health, and they are looking for engineers to develop core payment and procurement software that enables brands to effectively interact with their vendors to place and pay for orders.
Requirements
- Proficiency in backend design and development
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails (or willingness to learn)
- strong foundations in OOP
- familiarity with ORM frameworks
- Experience in relational databases such as Postgres and MySQL
- Strong understanding of product engineering
Responsibilities
- Design and build customer-facing features for procurement and payments that help small businesses manage cash flow and scale operations.
- Continuously improve engineering processes and coding best practices
Other
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally within a customer-facing role or product-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers in defining and delivering features.
