Accertify is looking for a Senior Engineer to help build and enhance their industry-leading fraud protection platform and products, which are used by the world's largest brands. The goal is to design and build software solutions that are fast, scalable, and flexible to assess risk across the entire customer journey, maximize revenues, improve user experience, minimize loss, and reduce customer friction.
Requirements
- Use of Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, SQL, Linux, git, and gradle
- Very strong and validated analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- High-volume transactional environment experience
- Three years of related software development experience as a Java developer
- Proven experience as a Java Developer using the Spring Boot framework
- Excellent JavaScript skills using JavaScript ES6
- Strong Relational database skills (SQL, JDBC – Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres preferred), NoSQL databases, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize slower queries
Responsibilities
- Work with business representatives, Lead Developers, and the Director of Software Development to design, build, and test new products and features
- Use IntelliJ to write code in Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Work independently or on small team projects
- Participate in requirement gathering and design sessions
- Participate in peer code reviews
- Troubleshoot and optimize code for usability, performance, and scalability
