Walmart/VIZIO Team is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to drive the development and deployment of cutting-edge solutions that power millions of devices and enhance customer experiences, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of their services.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting; familiarity with Go and C++ is advantageous.
- Expertise in AWS and Azure services, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Strong understanding of database management, including PostgreSQL and RDS.
- Implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices and joining us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Manage version control and code reviews with GitHub, Gerrit, and GitLab.
- Develop infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
- Optimize and manage AWS and Azure services.
- Maintain and troubleshoot production environments using CloudWatch.
- Lead project migrations from legacy systems to modern architectures.
- Develop software in Python and Bash scripting, with a plus for Go and C++.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.
