Requirements
- Extensive experience with JavaScript and JS Frameworks, such as React and NodeJS.
- Experience with full stack programming, including JavaScript/TypeScript/NodeJS, shell scripting and other similar technologies.
- Expertise with full lifecycle of application development, including best practices of unit testing, code reviews, documentation, etc.
- Experience leveraging cloud platform services, preferably within AWS
- Experience with build and deployment tools
- Experience instrumenting and monitoring applications via metrics, logs, and dashboards
Responsibilities
- Build components and modules that are used by millions of fans around the world
- Bring our UI to life by connecting components to live APIs
- Partner with other engineering teams to solve complex problems while considering performance, scalability, caching, resiliency, and flexibility for expanding product requirements
- Test code through various means: unit tests, integration tests, performance tests etc
- Maintain a deep understanding of our core systems and how they interact with upstream and downstream dependencies.
- Responsible for fundamental platform performance, scalability, and resiliency
- Partner with stakeholders to refine requirements, and propose solutions to problems that span multiple teams

- Minimum of 5+ years of related work experience
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies. Can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations
- Enjoy working within a team setting of engineers of varying experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill with both technical and non-technical audiences
- BS Computer Science or related technical discipline or its equivalent
