NAVEX is looking to solve the business problem of making the world a safer, more ethical place by developing innovative products within their integrated risk and compliance management platform. The Staff Software Engineer will contribute to designing quality solutions and delivering powerful products that help customers protect their reputation and bottom line.
Requirements
- 3+ years full-stack software development experience, ideally in a SaaS or micro service-based system
- Proficiency with Python, SQL, and AWS Services.
- Knowledge of and willingness to adapt to our technology stack: .NET, C-Sharp, JavaScript, React and Node.
- Experience with designing, developing, testing, maintaining and improving software
- Experience developing enterprise software that exceeds the industry standards for security, accessibility and user experience
- Experience with cloud-based databases and/or analytics platforms, OpenTelemetry, and containerization and orchestration technologies such as Flask, Gunicorn/Uvicorn, Docker, and Airflow
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Responsibilities
- Work alongside software engineers to develop cool new features and enhancements in our platform services space that will delight our customers
- Participate in elaboration and design sessions to understand and refine requirements to be implemented
- Build unit tests and automation test suites to ensure our products deliver the highest quality
- Collaborate with scrum team members during sprint planning and daily standups and share your accomplishments during sprint reviews
- Provide constructive and honest feedback during code reviews and sprint retrospectives
