Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize machine learning models for predictive analytics and real-time monitoring systems.
- Architect and build data dashboards and tools that support strategic decision-making.
- Create AI tools for issue resolution predictions, utilizing machine learning and web-crawled data.
- Develop features and enhance data presentation and user experience, including risk prediction models.
- Guide and mentor less experienced team members to foster technical growth.
- Work closely with business analysts and other teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Other
- Team members are required to report to our Herndon, VA office at least 2 days per week.
- May work remotely from the same MSA as the worksite up to 3 days per week.
- This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field and 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, or similar occupation in which relevant experience is gained and 5 years of experience in each of the following: machine learning, AI, data analytics, Python, R, SQL, AWS, SAS, SPSS Scala, Tableau, Hadoop, Jira, Confluence, and agile methodologies OR a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field or a foreign equivalent and 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, or similar occupation plus 2 years of experience in each of the following: machine learning, AI, data analytics, Python, R, SQL, AWS, SAS, SPSS, Scala, Tableau, Hadoop, Jira, Confluence, and agile methodologies.
