Onto Innovation is looking to solve yield, device performance, quality, and reliability issues for their customers in the semiconductor industry by developing innovative optical metrology and inspection systems.
Requirements
- Frontend: JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Blazor), HTML, CSS, responsive design, RESTful APIs, cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization.
- Backend: Server-side languages (e.g., c, Node.js, Python, Java), database management (SQL, NoSQL), API development, server architecture, security best practices, and containers.
- Experience with machine learning applications and concepts such as: training, labeling, inference, and deployment.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry or a related field.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban software development methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all stages of software development, including planning, requirements analysis, documentation, design, coding, and quality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, executives, engineers, and project and product managers.
- Help lead the company’s transition to a web-based environment.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the team.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and new technologies.
Other
- 3+ years’ experience in a full stack development position is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work in the semiconductor industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to engage in occasional international travel
