The University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to be a leading contributor on a software development team, working on advanced software solutions for sensor integration and data processing systems within their Sensor & Software Systems division.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience developing and Leading software applications in C++, C-Sharp, Java, or other object oriented languages.
- 7+ years of experience with ASP.NET MVC web application development, including websites/APIs/etc.
- 7+ years of experience with databases ( MSSQL, SQL).
- 4+ years of experience developing with PL/SQL.
- 4+ years of experience with Oracle Forms on a Linux-based system.
- Experienced with applications such as Git, Microsoft DevOps, and unit testing frameworks.
- Experienced with mass emailing APIs like SendGrid.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced software solutions for sensor integration and data processing systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams on projects spanning defense, aerospace, and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to technical initiatives from concept through implementation.
- All aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements design, development, integration, and testing.

- Must be eligible to secure and maintain a clearance.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
