Aretum is looking for a Senior Engineer to help deliver innovative, technology-enabled solutions to their customers across defense, civilian, and homeland security sectors, solving critical challenges at the intersection of strategy, technology, and transformation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Python programming
- 5+ years of Django programming
- 3+ years of Vue.js programming
- 5+ years of database experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with API’s and implementing Authentication/Authorization frameworks and standards
- Experience with Unit testing tools
- Experience with developing responsive design websites/applications using CSS frameworks
Responsibilities
- Experience building applications with Python, Django, and Vue.js.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams as the Senior Engineer on projects.
- Adhere to and support Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipeline implementations.
- Working independently and in a team environment, guiding more junior developers on the team.
- Engaging with stakeholders and gathering requirements.
- Experience with API’s and implementing Authentication/Authorization frameworks and standards
- Experience with Unit testing tools
Other
- Employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.
- All team members may be called upon to support proposal efforts as needed.
- This is a remote/work-from-home position.
- Occasional travel may be required based on project needs, client meetings, team collaboration events, or training sessions.
