Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to modernize products and applications development within the Wealth and Investment Management Technology division, specifically for the financial advice and planning Technology team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of strong technical skills in Java
- 4+ years of combined SQL Service, Oracle Database and Mongo DB experience
- 2+ years of experience in Apache Kafka/Confluent Enterprise
- 1+ year of experience with AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
- Strong experience working on Kafka, Microservices, and API development.
- Knowledge and understanding of test driven and behavior driven application development.
- Experience with Postman and/or Swagger UI
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
- Design, develop enhance, build, and deliver business products and application services
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
