Requirements
- Expertise in data modeling, schema design, and normalization.
- Strong PL/SQL and SQL tuning skills.
- Demonstrated experience leading application deployments and upgrades.
- Proficient in Oracle APEX.
- Experience with APEX Universal Theme, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of enterprise security practices and 508 accessibility.
- Experience with MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the database schemas, data models, and normalization for long-term maintainability.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle APEX applications.
- Build secure, accessible UIs using APEX Universal Theme, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Develop and optimize PL/SQL code; enforce standards and lead peer reviews.
- Direct data migration processes, ensuring integrity and accuracy.
- Oversee application upgrades, deployments, and release cycles.
- Mentor mid-level developers and provide technical leadership.
Other
- 4 Year Degree Information Technology or related field or Equivalent Experience.
- 8+ years in software development; 5+ years working with Oracle APEX.
- Top Secret Security Clearance required.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Ability to work on-site in the National Capital region.
