Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the sustainment and modification of the United States Air Force (USAF) Electronic Technical Information Management System (ETIMS) program. ETIMS is critical for managing Technical Orders (TOs) for the Air Force, supporting a large user base and numerous agencies. The program requires modernization and improvements to its current cloud-based architecture, including Oracle database, Java and .NET applications, and web/Windows clients, with a focus on delivering new capabilities rapidly.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency with different programming languages such as C-Sharp, .Net, and/or Java
- Strong knowledge of architectural patterns—MVP, MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture
- Core experience in User Experience (UE) and User Interface (UI) will be needed
- Experience performing Dev/Sec/Ops within AWS Cloud Infrastructure
- Experience with Cross-Domain Mobile Application development
- Experience with and knowledge of iOS applications
- Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS (Relational Database Management System)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software to include fixing bugs and addressing performance problems in a timely manner
- Write clean, commented, readable, testable, and maintainable code that meets KIRA software standards
- Collaborate with the test team to ensure that testers can write full function test scripts
- Test and provide support for client applications
- Ensure that every application undergoes testing for usability, robustness, and general reliability
- Apply appropriate standards and applicable processes using appropriate tools throughout the development life cycle
- Support the build/release of applications and management of application in AWS Cloud Infrastructure

- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
- Limited travel; may be required to visit Wright-Patterson AFB on a regular basis
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in a related discipline and 5-10 years development experience or 15+ years of highly relevant experience
- Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) programs and requirements
- Has and is able to obtain 8570 certification, minimum requirement is a CompTIA Security+ certification, within 30 days of employment
