CoreAI is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build foundational platforms, services, programming models, and developer experiences for the next generation of applications using Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI). The 1ES (One Engineering System) team needs to enhance developer productivity by developing scalable distributed services for development environment migration and security services, analysis, and alerting, and designing advanced tooling compatible with emerging ecosystems.
Requirements
- coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 6+ months of experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, or similar) to enhance productivity and code quality
- Familiarity with versions control systems like Git (Github, Azure DevOps)
Responsibilities
- developing scalable distributed services for development environment migration and security services, analysis, and alerting
- design advanced tooling that is compatible with emerging ecosystems
- deliver improved performance and accuracy
- incorporate AI-driven features
- Creates, implements, optimizes, debugs, refactors, and reuses code to establish and improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI)
- Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guides other engineers by developing and following the playbook, working on call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, alerting stakeholders about status and initiates actions to restore system/product/service for simple and complex problems when appropriate
- Proactively seeks new knowledge and adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale

- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
- 3 days / week in-office
