BigBear.ai is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support analysts and operators by designing, developing, and integrating tools to automate data collection, analysis, and presentation, providing guidance and vision for AI/ML-driven workflows.
Requirements
- Production-grade software development experience in Python.
- Experience within CNO domain developing tools to meet analyst and operator pain points.
- Experience leveraging HTTP-based APIs to access data through queries.
- Practical experience with platforms for processing Agency data sets.
- Experience with software source control (git) and Atlassian tool suite - Jira, Confluence.
- Practical experience in one or more artificial intelligence domains (e.g., intelligent systems, autonomy, planning, NLP).
- Familiarity with cloud computing technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
Responsibilities
- Lead a project from inception to delivery in the CNO domain, including; problem decomposition, design, development, deployment, and maintenance of full-stack data analysis applications.
- Interact with mission stakeholders to elicit requirements and devise solutions.
- Navigate customer data types to identify and extract relevant information.
- Collaborate with other software engineers to test workflows, identify issues, and recommend pathways for fixes.
