Bridgeway is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to focus on maintaining several critical applications in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years' professional software engineering experience in full .NET framework, .NET 8, C++14, Object Oriented Methodologies, Web Services and frontend web technologies (Angular, HTML, JavaScript preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in application design, implementation, maintenance, diagnosing and issue resolution, managing security, etc.
- Experience with Visual Studio required
- Experience with Azure, DevOps - CI/CD, containerization, Firebird preferred
- Experience developing in a large-scale or multi-platform environment preferred
- Strong understanding of Agile Methodology
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update major application sub systems using C++, .NET, and related technologies.
- Assess requirements for software development projects.
- Provide support and research for existing and new software, and investigate, recommend, and implement new technology and solutions.
- Adhere to technical standards within the industry and within Bridgeway.
- Participate in multiple concurrent projects, to include product enhancements, client customizations, third party integrations, and product maintenance.
- Collaborate with our Engineering, DevOps, and operations teams to define and execute plans for standardization scaling and enhancements to our products and services utilized in deployment, installation, and release efforts.
- Maintain SCRUM Methodology and documentation of user stories, features, and other release notes to best assist implementation application support teams.
