Angi is looking to hire a Senior Engineer to help simplify complex problem spaces into easy-to-use tools and work on challenging problems with cutting-edge technologies, specifically focusing on building and maintaining scalable application platforms on cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Experience working with/building out control-loop style operators highly preferred.
- Experience in automation and infrastructure as code.
- Strong programming skills in Go.
- Experience creating controllers with kubebuilder.
- Experience developing developer tooling.
- Strong understanding of complex distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Develop and maintain Kubernetes clusters for running workloads.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications.
- Build custom Kubernetes controllers.
- Design and document API definitions.
- Create tools for developers to improve efficiency.
- Abstract interconnected systems into platform components.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience required; Master's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
