Azure Edge Linux Infrastructure & Virtualization Engineering (LIVE+) organization is building a team to help develop an edge computing platform to automate and manage the customer hybrid cloud platform and workload deployments and the next generation Internet of Things.
Requirements
- coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps processes.
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Agentic AI and AI frameworks/protocols
- Solid technical and design skills towards problem solving w.r.to scale and optimization.
- Programming experience in GoLang/C-Sharp Languages with Data Structures and Algorithms.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and robust applications
- Lead and contribute to architectural decisions
- Leverage AI to solve complex business problems
- Deliver maintainable, performant solutions. Write extensible code; optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse to improve performance and ROI; apply coding patterns and metrics to drive stability.
- Ensure code quality and standards. Review code for diagnosability, reliability, maintainability, and scale; apply and provide feedback; enforce best practices and patterns during reviews.
- Act as a designated responsible individual (DRI) and guide other engineers by developing and following the process/tools, working on-call to monitor a system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions

- 3 days / week in-office
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
