Microsoft Specialized Clouds (MSC) is looking to hire talented and highly motivated Software Engineers to be on point for designing and implementing the next-generation Specialized Clouds products and services for customers across the globe. This person will need to be solid technically, with in-depth knowledge and experience in analyzing data and requirements, designing, developing and releasing services or products to end users.
Requirements
- Experience in programming, design and problem-solving skills, with a solid bias for quality and engineering excellence.
- Experience developing cross-platform software.
- Experience with modern software development and/or micro service technologies.
- Experience in implementing large-scale, low latency and high-quality distributed systems.
- Experience in developing Agentic AI applications.
- 3+ years hands on experience in any language such as C-Sharp, Go, Rust or Powershell.
- Experience in Kubernetes and familiar with open sources services in Kubernetes ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Be solid technically, with in-depth knowledge and experience in developing distributed cloud services and a good understanding of Operating Systems.
- Design and implement scalable, highly available services which will be part of the core Edge Platform.
- Be directly responsible for transforming loosely defined ideas into tangible design
- Drive the implementation and execution to bring the vision to life.
- Traditional software engineering skills such as agile methodologies with a focus on efficiency, iterating quickly and failing fast.
- Ability to implement scalable, maintainable and efficient code.

- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Cloud and services experience, with Azure cloud experience as a preference.
