Requirements
- 5-7+ years of progressive experience as a Backend Engineer in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 3-5+ years building high-performing/dataintensive applications running in the Cloud.
- Development experience in Go Programming Language (GoLang)
- Amazon AWS experience (EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, ELB, Lambda)
- Experience implementing and Using APIs and understanding of HTTP and REST architecture
- Experience implementing microservices and delivering to market.
- Experience with both relational & NoSQL databases, writing Stored Procedures, Functions etc.
Responsibilities
- Participate in software design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Performs system troubleshooting to ensure high availability of platform services and resolve issues.
- Participate in or leads design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, sprint refinement, and sprint retro meetings.
- Documents design and code.
- Provides status updates regularly.
- Trains and mentors' entry level software engineers.
