Microsoft's Azure Data engineering team is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to help build the services that power agentic AI experiences in Microsoft Fabric, specifically focusing on Data Agent which provides novel ways to interact with data and leverages generative AI to answer business questions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience developing products or applications powered by Generative AI.
- 1+ year of experience assessing the quality of Generative AI outputs, including evaluating accuracy, utilizing benchmarks and relevant metrics and proposing enhancement
- Experience with industrial machine learning applications
- Hands-on project experiences in big data analysis or distributed computing
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high performance GenAI applications for cloud offerings.
- Solve hard technical challenges in GenAI and distributed computing.
- Use engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle to establish maintainable, reliable, and secure systems.
- Collaborate with teammates in various roles to plan and execute on key deliverables.
- Participate in rotating livesite shifts, working on call to monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
