The Windows AI team is looking to revolutionize how over a billion customers engage with Windows by driving innovation for new marquee experiences used by Windows customers worldwide.
Requirements
1+ year experience with agentic AI development including, but not limited to Large Language Models (LLMs), Semantic Kernel, and LangChain
Coding experience in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
Previous experience with Windows development
2+ years demonstrated familiarity and passion for AI technologies
Experience with C++, C-Sharp, Python, and the latest Windows SDKs
Experience with test-driven code and secure-by-default engineering practices
Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), Semantic Kernel, and LangChain
Responsibilities
Designs and implements features across the Windows stack using C++, C-Sharp, Python, and the latest Windows SDKs.
Drives identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.
Writes clean, maintainable, and test-driven code; participates in code reviews and adheres to Microsoft secure-by-default engineering practices.
Moves fast and adapts quickly in a dynamic environment, driving impact with urgency and agility.
Leverages subject-matter expertise of product features and partners with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project managers) to drive a workgroup's project plans, release plans, and work items.
Contributes to team discussions, shares insights, and supports continuous improvement. Engages with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, customer-obsessed solutions.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
