Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience, with strong full-stack or back-end expertise.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and deploying microservices-based architectures.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Curiosity to stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of features and services.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with an eye toward performance and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of projects and features, from requirements through deployment.
  • Identify and resolve performance, security, and scalability issues.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.
  • Advocate for best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to align on goals and priorities.
  • This is a hybrid position based in New York City, with an in-office requirement of four days per week.
