The company is looking to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and provide advanced support for Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Synapse Analytics, Spark Notebooks, and Azure SQL. This role aims to solve challenges related to cloud design, risk analysis, integration, and ensuring optimal performance and reliability of cloud environments.
Requirements
- Deep Expertise in cloud providers Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Infrastructure as Code (ex. Terraform, Ansible), Data Platforms (ex. Azure Synapse, Databricks, Microsoft/Azure SQL), Containerization (ex. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of Backup Solutions (ex. CommVault), Hypervisors (ex. VMWare vSphere), DNS, Monitoring & Logging tools/analysis (ex. CloudWatch, Prometheus), Scripting languages (ex. Powershell, Python and Bash)
- Understanding of AI platforms and models, including AI Foundry
Responsibilities
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including state management and automated deployments.
- Provide advanced support for Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Synapse Analytics, Spark Notebooks, and Azure SQL.
- Build and Manage CI/CD pipelines and repositories such as GitHub or Azure Devops for maintaining code
- Design and deploy new and existing systems in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments, selecting appropriate cloud services, including migrations from on-premises to cloud
- Manage, support, and maintain cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Monitor and analyze cloud environments to optimize performance, improve reliability, scale applications, and manage costs efficiently
- Develop and maintain microservices (such as Azure Logic Apps and Function Apps) for automation and integration
