Microsoft is innovating rapidly in the online advertising space to grow its share of this multi-billion-dollar market by providing the advertising industry with a state-of-the-art online advertising platform and service. The Microsoft Advertising Platform team is building the marketing solutions for the next generation of e-commerce, helping advertisers and retailers implement, automate, and scale their marketing programs across the internet.
Requirements
- 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C-Sharp, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 3+ years experience in building scalable, secure, high performance products and services on the backend.
- 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C-Sharp, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C-Sharp, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Excellent technical design, problem solving and debugging skills, proven track record in shipping software on time, with high quality.
- Knowledge of Distributed systems design, Microsoft Azure, AWS or similar cloud computing platforms is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver innovative and impactful features.
- Work on coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
- Drive long-term architectural improvements and development for highly scalable services with quality, performance, and maintainability as core tenets.
- Drive Collaboration across teams to deliver high quality solutions from concept to release and live operations.
- Mentor and develop engineers across all levels through sharing and learning.
Other
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check : This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

- Experience in online advertising is a plus.
