Microsoft's Business & Industry Copilots group, responsible for products like Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, needs to ensure its services are fast, reliable, and cost-efficient at a planetary scale. The Foundations Performance Engineering Team aims to solve complex scalability challenges and drive measurable capacity gains to provide a seamless, high-performance platform for millions of users.
Requirements
- coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of multi-tenant, enterprise class microservices and distributed systems.
- Build solutions, help create tools, help automate issue detection and diagnosis, to enable customers or support to self-resolve the issues.
- Identify emerging trends or re-occurring escalation scenarios and drive engineering opportunities to mitigate and/or eliminate them.
- Contribute to product improvements by filing impactful bugs, design change requests, and fix and ship them to production, preventing customers from being impacted.
- Specialize in distributed systems optimization, telemetry and workload management, and deep runtime analysis across Service Fabric and AKS.
