Spotify USA Inc. is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to write, test, and maintain code for multi-component systems within the Spotify backend system.
Requirements
- prog in Java, Scala, Python prog languages & shell, SQL scripting
- sftware dvlpmnt for backnd systm usg Apollo, gRPC, protobuf, semantic-metrics, dependency injectn framewrks, & JUnit
- sftware dvlpmnt for data engg using protobuf, avro, Scio, Flyte, & Luigi
- designg & architectg of lrge distributd backnd systm & data system w/ tools such as Google Pub/Sub, Bigtable, Dataflow, Styx, Luigi, & BigQuery
- Operating lrge scale, hi performnce, always-on productn sftware systms usg tools like Grafana, Pagerduty, GCP Monitorg, & Kubernetes command line
- automatic deploymnt of sftware systms using Jenkins or other mng CI/CD tools
- cloud computg tools & best practices, incl GCP toolings, Docker, IAM mgmt, & Kubernetes operatn
- Integratg multi sftware systms thru REST API design & GCP Pub/Sub queue system

- Bach deg (U.S. or foreign equiv) in Comp Sci or a closely rel field & 7 yrs of exp in Software Engg or rel positn.
