Requirements
- Hands-on experience with queueing/streaming services such as Kafka/RabbitMQ/SQS.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as API Gateway etc.
- Ability to design resilient software components within a distributed system
- Emerging ability to lead and influence a team's technical direction
- 6+ years programming experience, ideally on a modern stack.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities
- Lead and drive end-to-end technical initiatives, managing projects typically involving 2-3 engineers, from initial design and architecture through to successful production deployment.
- Engage in shaping the technical architecture of the product
- Help translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions
- Mentor other engineers, support the technical culture, and help grow the team
- Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies
- Communicate with project leads, product managers and other software developers
- Implement new functionality, architecting our system, squashing bugs, maintaining the health of our code, and continually growing as an engineer
