Requirements
- A strong “Product Engineering” mindset
- Pragmatism and a focus on simplicity, efficiency, and performance
- Significant experience in similar roles building technically complex products in any web programming language
- Expert-level skills in server-side, client-side, or full stack development
- A strong commitment to quality and testing
- Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new technologies and frameworks
- Experience using AI coding tools during the development process, such as Copilot, Cline, or similar
- Experience building AI-powered product features using AWS, GCP, or OpenAI platforms
- Experience with NodeJS and Angular
- DevOps experience with the AWS suite
Responsibilities
- Contribute to product development in Python/Django and/or React for a travel-related, web-based product
- Build and maintain integrations between our product and third-party APIs
- Design, implement, and test system architecture
- Work within an Agile environment, with a strong focus on well-documented code, unit testing, and continuous integration
- Mentor, coach, and train colleagues as a domain expert
