Transform the Ford Reservation Services into the standard for providing an excellent digital experience for Service appointments for vehicles by innovating, problem-solving, and building new features and exciting capabilities to support launches of customer-centric features.

Requirements

  • front-end languages such as JavaScript/Typescript, and a familiarity with other languages such as Java
  • front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, VueJs
  • backend framework like Nest.js, GoLang Api development and Spring boot
  • understanding, practicing, and advocating for clean code principles such as test-driven development (TDD), self-documenting code, continuous refactoring, and Extreme Programming (XP)
  • Enthusiastic about AI Driven coding with the help of tools like Github Co-Pilot, Cursor AI or Windsurf
  • Strong understanding of Fullstack architecture principals
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD with popular tools like Jenkins, Tekton, Github Actions etc

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field OR a combination of education and equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field OR a combination of education and equivalent experience
  • Experience with web and mobile accessibility standards (WCAG compliance), tools, and testing (e.g. screen-readers, axe, user interviews)
  • Mechanical and engineering empathy
  • A desire to collaborate closely with UI/UX designers
