Requirements
- Experience owning a significant project in C++ or Python
- Passion for developing clean and organized software and testing methods
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to break down complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly to different audiences
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test critical components and services for our fish processing systems
- Own and test software features from development to deployment
- Collaborate in a multi disciplinary team to improve robot behavior, sensor integration, and data pipelines
- Analyze metrics and investigate failure modes
Other
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- 5+ years of previous experience on a Software or Robotics role
- Desire to mentor young engineers on the team
- Desire to learn new technologies and to apply them to solve real-world challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
