Technatomy is looking to modernize and sustain VA acquisition systems through the EASS eCMS program. The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications that support mission-critical workflows and modernization initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of seven (7) years in software engineering or enterprise application development.
- Strong proficiency with .NET technologies including ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
- Experience with UI frameworks and enterprise frontend technologies.
- Experience developing unit tests and participating in structured QA cycles.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CI/CD automation, code quality scanning, or testing frameworks.
- Experience working in environments built on Azure, .NET, SQL Server, IIS, and related VA enterprise technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software components using .NET, ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, and related frameworks.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design decisions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following established standards.
- Conduct peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop and execute unit tests and support integration and regression testing.
- Troubleshoot application issues, analyze logs, identify root causes, and support resolution.
- Support API development, data access components, and integration workflows.

- Experience working with Federal agencies, particularly the Department of Veterans Affairs.
