CVS Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer within the Aetna Digital team to create applications pivotal in shaping the digital experience for millions of Aetna members. The role focuses on design, development, and implementation of digital solutions and systems by applying advanced technical expertise to architect and code software applications, conduct system testing and debugging, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience within Information Technology and/or working within Digital Engineering Teams
- 1+ years within the Healthcare domain with specific knowledge of US based Health plans
- 1+ year working with Agile methodology
Responsibilities
- Design and define the technical architecture and infrastructure required for digital solutions
- Write code, develop software components and implement complex functionalities according to project requirements
- Collaborate with other members of the development team and stakeholders to make high-level architectural decisions, propose design patterns, and ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of digital solutions
- Leverage advanced programming skills to design and implement complex features, optimize performance and ensure code efficiency
- Integrate various software components or systems, ensuring seamless communication and interoperability between different parts of the digital solution
- Write and execute comprehensive test cases, conducts code reviews, performs debugging, and troubleshoots issues to ensure the reliability, stability, and high quality of digital solutions
- Explore new tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve digital solutions and drive innovation within the development team

- 2+ years of execution and delivery experience (planning, delivering, and supporting) to include collaborating with Stakeholders, Senior Leadership and Cross Functional teams.
