Requirements
- Coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Programming skills in languages such as C-Sharp, Java, or C++
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Understanding of security principles and the challenges of securing large-scale systems
- Experience working with high-scale, mission-critical SaaS products, including service operations
- Experience building software systems, with a focus on large-scale, distributed platforms
- Experience guiding and mentoring engineers, driving their projects to completion
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of of robust workflows that streamline deployment and optimize the operations of Microsoft Purview solutions across specialized clouds.
- Mentor and guide engineers, providing technical direction, reviewing code, and ensuring best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, security professionals, and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize platform performance to handle vast amounts of data across diverse digital systems while ensuring scalability, availability, and security.
- Drive end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
- Work on cloud-native technologies and distributed systems to build a robust, resilient, and secure platform.
- Continuously improve the platform by leveraging new technologies and best practices in security, data governance, and cloud infrastructure.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience
- 9+ years of experience building software systems
