DAT is looking to solve the problem of transforming the freight marketplace technology by building products for the carrier side of the Convoy Platform, which connects brokers and carriers, and empowering carriers to find freight, onboard seamlessly, manage shipments, and build lasting relationships with brokers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering impactful products
- Strong full-stack fundamentals with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Experience with React, Node.js, React Native, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and AWS
- Background in marketplace platforms, two-sided networks, or logistics technology
- Experience with mobile development
- Familiarity with payments, fintech, or fraud prevention systems
- Understanding of data integration patterns and ETL pipelines
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of high-impact product initiatives spanning carrier onboarding transformation, payments and financing features, mobile app modernization, DAT-Convoy data integration, and enhanced marketplace impression tracking
- Work across our full stack (React Native, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Kafka, AWS, GraphQL)
- Partner with teams across the marketplace
- Drive features from concept to delivery
- Own substantial product initiatives and help shape the future of our carrier platform
- Break down complex, undefined problems
