Requirements

  • Proven track record in building new services / features within a larger product in quick time working with cloud infrastructure services such as AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD, etc.
  • Hands-on professional experience developing and debugging on an object-oriented language like Golang, C++, Java etc.
  • Agile and lean practices that enable CI/CD and a fast-paced environment for iterative product development
  • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, software design, and architecture of modern distributed systems
  • Highest sense of quality and performance for the products you develop and deliver

Responsibilities

  • Build high level design for multiple features by working in conjunction with technical leaders and architects
  • Lead a small set of engineers in development, execution and delivery of above features within Splunk release cycle
  • Partner with Product team to ensure that features delivered make significant customer impact
  • Be responsible for overall quality of the product by driving Developer Owned Quality mindset within the team
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers on the team

Other

  • Bachelors + 7 years of related experience, or Masters + 4 years of related experience, or PhD + 1 years of related experience
  • Strong communication skills that will help navigate your way through working with multiple other teams within the company
  • Strong ability to navigate through uncertainty, change and adapt as per the needs of the hour
