Nightwing is seeking to lead the design and delivery of complex, mission-critical software systems to support critical operations in the intelligence community, defense, civil, and commercial markets
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
- IAT Level II certification compliance (required)
- Proven experience delivering complex systems in environments with stringent security and operational requirements
- Strong ability to work independently while influencing team success and technical outcomes
- Current TS/SCI CI Poly
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of sophisticated software systems supporting mission-critical programs
- Apply advanced software engineering principles and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications
- Work independently on complex functional tasks while contributing to the overall technical direction of the program
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet technical, functional, and security requirements across the full development lifecycle
- Provide technical leadership by mentoring junior engineers and, when assigned, overseeing the work of staff supporting specific initiatives
- Support high-visibility efforts where reliability, performance, and security are paramount
- Lead the design and delivery of complex, mission-critical software systems
