Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in cloud technologies and architecture, with practical experience in API Design and managing applications on major cloud platforms.
- Experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Experience with platforms that leverage language models.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Experience leading the design of software solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Practical experience in API Design
- Experience managing applications on major cloud platforms
Responsibilities
- Architect and build a secure and performant Copilot platform services that power Microsoft M365 Copilot and other next-generation Copilot and Agent scenarios.
- Partner with Science, PM and Design counterparts to understand product requirements and latest trends in industry to drive architectural changes as required to improve scale, reliability and agility of the Product.
- Drive identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for the platform.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guide other engineers by developing and following the playbook and upholding high operational excellence.
- Proactively seek new knowledge and adapt to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of the platform while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
- Define success metrics and improve those metrics based on platform / product evolution.
- Embody Microsoft’s Culture and Values and help shape the direction of the engineering team and broader organization.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience
- Equivalent experience
