ENSCO is seeking a Sustainment Test and Evaluation Engineer to support a MILSATCOM Program Management Office (PMO) within the US Space Force’s (USSF), Space Systems Command (SSC) at Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), CO. We conduct operations and sustainment activities for state-of-the-art Military and Commercial Satellite Communications (SATCOM) and Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our Nation’s warfighters.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience with DoD/USAF test processes and documentation
- Specific experience operating or maintaining the following: FAB-T, MMS, Global-ASNT, GBS Receive Suites, cryptographic equipment (e.g., KIV-7M, KG-250), and/or related infrastructure/support equipment
- Knowledge of DoD mission system sustainment
- International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification or higher
- Project Management Institute (PMI), Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, coordinate, and execute testing on the Family of Beyond Line-of-Sight Terminals (FAB-T), Global Aircrew Strategic Network Terminal (Global-ASNT), Time Distribution Subsystem PreProcessor (TDSPP), Milstar Messaging System (MMS), Global Broadcast Service (GBS), and various other MILSATCOM systems, subsystems and devices
- Provide engineering and technician-level support, including integration, communication circuit troubleshooting, system-level anomaly resolution, and the identification and isolation of software or hardware defects to evaluate/assess system modifications for shortfalls or interoperability issues and provide technical assessments to the client with regards to the modifications
- Author and deliver technical documentation including test plans, test procedures, system configuration diagrams, engineering studies, technical white papers, and test reports

- Must be a motivated, self-starter capable of autonomous on-the-job learning/improvement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills
- 5+ years of small team leadership experience
- 5+ years experience working with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships
- 5+ years experience working in a highly competitive multi-contractor environment
- AN ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION FOR WHICH, YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
