Requirements
- Weblogic, Docker/Podman, WSO2, and Kafka for deployment pipeline automations and manage Application Programming Interfaces with enterprise lodging systems
- Azure and Amazon Cloud for developing, configuring and deploying applications infrastructure activities in cloud platform
- Java, Groovy, React.js, Node.js and SOLR to troubleshoot issues as required on applications from the infrastructure platform
- Shell scripting, Perl, Python, and Go language to build and maintain the scheduling and other wide areas of utilities necessary around the systems
- GitHub, CloudBees/Jenkins, Artifactory and Rundeck to help support various types of deployments and maintenances
- Ansible, SonarQube and Datadog for automation, security scanning and monitoring or alerting to configure the applications' performance and availability
Responsibilities
- Performs as a key contributor to an engineering team that builds and supports exceptional products that provide innovative solutions to challenging business use cases, existing system and operational problems
- Participates in architectural design, system analysis, and programming activities on application software; this may often require independent research and study
- Experience with deploying and managing applications using WebLogic, container management using Docker/Podman, and management of API systems
- Oversees SSL certificate management, performs IT operations automation tasks and setting up docker application environments
- Writes highest quality code with utmost attention to scalability, security, performance and with an end-to-end mindset from conception to delivery and production support, owning specifications, quality, release deployments and monitoring of production health
- Produces complete, simple, and readable technical documentation for everything developed and maintains a team culture of documenting everything
- Tests and ensures quality of all code that developed in line with principles of test-driven development and continuous delivery, utilizing test automation frameworks wherever possible
Other
- Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Engineering in Information Technology or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in Computer Information Systems or in the related role or job offered
