NVIDIA is looking for an outstanding software engineer to work with a development team focused on building accelerated quantum chemistry libraries. This crucial role will give you and your team a rare opportunity to advance the field of quantum chemistry and promote scientific breakthroughs in the fields of materials, drug discovery, and semi-conductors built on NVIDIAs computing platform.
Requirements
- 8+ overall years of experience in developing high-performance numerical methods for scientific computing and quantum chemistry at supercomputer scales
- Good knowledge of CPU and/or GPU hardware architecture
- Good understanding of DFT, CCSD, Hartree-Fock, and other quantum chemistry domain techniques
- Experience with SW/product development in HPC or Datacenter domains and familiarity with GPU compute programming model frameworks such as CUDA, OpenCL, HIP
- Familiarity with Pre-silicon/Post-silicon SW development life cycle and tools

- Collaborating with researchers, partners, and customers to break new ground in accelerated quantum chemistry simulation software
- Stay on top of developments in your fields of expertise through conferences and publications and share this with relevant teams at NVIDIA
Other
- PhD or equivalent experience in CS, EE (or other related technical field)
- Proven track record working within development teams with impactful results
- You will prioritize planning, scheduling, and owning the execution of all projects and activities by applying your technical leadership, and management knowledge.
- This will require working with researchers and partners around the world as well as peer engineering, product and program leaders within NVIDIA.
