Envoy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Admin Platform (AMP) team to build mission-critical features for their largest enterprise customers, directly impacting company revenue and customer delight. The role involves addressing key architectural challenges related to enterprise scale, security, and performance to drive innovation in the hybrid workplace.

Requirements

  • 6-7 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer with a focus on Back-end development.
  • Ability to work across the entire stack when needed.
  • Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-grade services (e.g., SSO, SCIM, Custom Roles, advanced permissioning).
  • Expertise in ensuring the security, availability, and performance of production services at scale.
  • A track record of providing technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise-grade services and features
  • Ensure the quality, security, availability, and performance of services, including responding to incidents, identifying/resolving bottlenecks, and fixing bugs.
  • Serve as the technical expert/lead on team projects, providing mentorship and technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
  • Drive engineering projects from inception to completion with a sense of urgency, acting as a future shaper who guides technical direction for the team and company.
  • Deliver excellent software through comprehensive peer-reviews, CI, and automated testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers and designers) to define and ship new features.
