- Experience prioritizing learning and iteration speed, especially in early-stage development (experience beyond building only production-hardened code).
- Experience in product development.
- Experience rapid prototyping and experimentation.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Researchers across Alphabet (Google DeepMind, Google Research, Labs, etc.) to translate concepts into functional AI capabilities for personalized memory and context.
- Collaborate with Product teams across Platforms and Devices (Chrome, Pixel, Android etc.) to understand evolving product needs and co-create innovative cross-device ecosystem experiences.
- Embrace ambiguity and proactively identify opportunities, define solutions, and navigate the fluid landscape inherent in a pioneering research and development environment.
- Ideate, design, and run experiments to develop, evaluate, and improve models, infrastructure, and user experiences, focusing on fast feedback loops.
- Work closely with cross-functional partners to plan, prioritize, and execute projects in a dynamic setting.
- Build systems that understand users holistically through private and personalized memory.
- Grow on rapid prototyping and iteration to quickly explore new experiences
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience driving cross-functional collaboration, decision making, and data analysis.
- Experience growing and delivering impactful results in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and resource-constrained environment (e.g., startup experience, new product incubation, research and development teams).
- Comfort navigating the inherent ambiguity and evolution typical of early-stage innovation.
- Ability to work in a collaborative effort across Alphabet, including research partnerships with Google DeepMind, Google Research, and Labs, and product integrations across core Google experiences.
