Google is seeking a Software Engineer to build and develop Gemini Cloud Assist Investigations, aiming to transform how enterprise customers consume and manage their businesses in the cloud, and influence the Google Cloud, Google DeepMind, and external AI ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 3 years of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio (e.g., technology duplicating and responding to the human voice), reinforcement learning (e.g., sequential decision making), ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field.
  • Experience in Generative AI (Large Language Models, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models).
  • 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Write and test product or system development code.
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure best practices amongst available technologies (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
  • Lead design and development of execution service and catalog for product teams and third parties to contribute run-books.
  • Interact cross-functionally and cultivate partnerships with teams.
  • Work with Engineering, Product, Design, Operations, and User Research to identify opportunities for quality run-books.
  • Lead initiatives to improve our data, tools and methodology, beyond the scope of a single product application, to help scale the team's work.
