Jahnel Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Android) to build high-performance mobile applications, solve complex challenges, and ship high-quality Android apps to the Play Store.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
- Proven track record of publishing high-quality Android applications to the Google Play Store.
- Strong expertise in Kotlin and Java.
- Deep understanding of the Android SDK, device variations, and OS versions.
- Solid experience with RESTful APIs for backend integrations.
- Strong grasp of Android UI/UX design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Proficient in Git and collaborative development workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, and debug scalable, robust, and high-performance Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver innovative new features.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of Android applications.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Uphold and advocate for modern best practices in mobile software design through code reviews and architectural discussions.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of learning, quality, and innovation.
- Continuously research and adopt new tools, frameworks, and techniques to optimize development efficiency.
