Healthie is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development and enhancement of their GraphQL API to support over 1 billion monthly API calls.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in customer-facing application development
- Significant expertise in building GraphQL APIs using modern web frameworks like Ruby on Rails
- Experience with modern web frameworks like Ruby on Rails
- Strong understanding of GraphQL API development
- Experience with building scalable solutions
- Experience with creating well-tested production-ready code
- Experience with maintaining high-quality documentation
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and enhancement of Healthie's GraphQL API
- Drive the evolution of the API to support over 1 billion monthly API calls
- Prioritize and execute high-impact updates to the API experience
- Continuously improve the developer toolkit
- Create well-tested production-ready code
- Maintain high-quality documentation
- Shape and prioritize the API roadmap based on customer feedback and industry best practices
